Introduction
Provincial Secretariat for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality is responsible for developing and implementing policies in the fields of social protection, family and child welfare, demographic development and gender equality. The Secretariat prepares strategic and regulatory acts, establishes and supervises social protection institutions, monitors the implementation of demographic and social programmes, and supports vulnerable groups. Through funding programmes, institutional oversight and cooperation with civil society and local governments, it contributes to social inclusion, equal opportunities, and sustainable demographic and social development across Vojvodina.
Thematic relevance
Provincial Secretariat for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality is responsible for policies in social protection, family and child welfare, demographic development and gender equality. Through programmes supporting vulnerable groups, women, youth, persons with disabilities and Roma communities, the Secretariat promotes equal opportunities and social inclusion. Within this framework, traditional crafts represent an important instrument for economic empowerment, especially for women and marginalized groups, enabling access to income, self-employment and community participation while preserving cultural identity and contributing to inclusive local development across Vojvodina.
