Introduction

Regional Development Agency of South Bohemia (RERA) supports economic, social, and cultural development of the region since 1999. Its unique shareholders structure, consisting of regional authority, union of towns and municipalities, chamber of commerce and chamber of agriculture, allows RERA to bring together relevant stakeholders across the region in innovative national, cross-border and international projects. RERA offers its expertise in grant preparation and project management to both public and private subjects from the region.

Thematic relevance

RERA plays a significant role in developing both tangible and intangible cultural heritage in South Bohemian Region by preparing and managing regional, national and EU-funded projects that support the conservation, revitalisation and purposeful use of heritage assets. Through participation and leadership in cross-border cooperation initiatives with cultural and tourism components, RERA creates opportunities for restoration, interpretation and sustainable tourism around material heritage, embedding it in broader economic, social and regional development strategies while involving local stakeholders and international partners.
