Erzsébet Tajti is a folk costume maker and educator with decades of experience in the research, reconstruction, and teaching of traditional Hungarian folk dress. For more than ten years, she has been committed to folk art education, with a special focus on materials, pattern making, and region-specific decorative techniques. Among the wide variety of Hungarian folk costumes, the Jász costume holds a special place in her work. She applies an experience-based approach, combining traditional knowledge with modern tools, and mainly works with young people through hands-on workshops, fieldwork, and professional training programmes.
