Introduction
The Provincial Secretariat for Culture, Public Information and Relations with Religious Communities is a provincial secretariat of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The Secretariat deals with the work of the Provincial Administration in the sector of culture, protection of cultural heritage, funds and foundations, interregional collaboration in the section of culture among others. The Secretariat proposes part of the Cultural Development Strategy of the Republic of Serbia for the territory of AP Vojvodina and determines the program of cultural development for the region. The Secretariat, has the experience in the cross-border region aimed to make the cultural heritage.
Thematic relevance
The Provincial Secretariat’s added value is its being experienced in the preparation of cultural development strategies and in activating linked subsidy schemes. It is also important as it is competent in using finances for cultural development thus may care for the implementation of the projects presented in the relevant action plan. It has been part of a cross border project in heritage valorisation.
