The Folk Art Galleries of the ASTRA Museum function as an important support point for creators, offering them the opportunity to make their works known and appreciated, as well as a dedicated space for their promotion and sale. For visitors

Visitors can discover here handmade objects created using traditional techniques, originating from various ethnographic regions of Romania and crafted from a wide range of materials: plant fibers, leather, fabric, wood, ceramics, or bone. All these items are both decorative and functional. From delicately woven flowers made of corn husks or bulrush, to humorous and expressive ritual masks, from belts and sashes to carefully crafted adornments and pieces of traditional costume, each object becomes a drop of storytelling—a living fragment of our cultural heritage. At the same time, the exhibitions are designed to highlight traditional crafts and to connect visitors with the world of folk creators.
